The Pagosa Quality Fishing
Project (PQFP) is a non-profit organization dedicated to
providing anglers an ultimate fishing experience.
PQFP is made possible through sponsorships and donations
with area businesses, individuals, and the Pagosa Springs
Town Tourism Committee.
Adding
to our robust natural fish population, the waters of
the
San Juan River is stocked with trout through the PQFP. In 2009 and
2110, PQFP stocked over 4,000 trout into the river.

2007, more than 13,000 anglers fished beautiful Pagosa Springs,
Colorado. This year, even more anglers will experience our pristine lakes, river and streams.
Whether an avid angler, beginner, or young fishing
enthusiast, we invite you to experience easy, accessible
fishing opportunities throughout two miles of world class
fishing in downtown Pagosa Springs.
Anglers
are invited to visit our Angler
Resource Center, for the most accurate information on fishing in Pagosa,
as well as lodging and angler supplies. We welcome your
fishing stories and photos in the Photo Gallery
section. Review the Pagosa Springs Fishing Access Map
for easy fishing access points. We'll see you at the San
Juan River or River Center soon!
